I have been job searching and volunteering at a local woman’s museum and the local public library.  I’ve also been really into soup making.  Mostly lentil and veggies, but I have made a couple batches of tomato and some yellow dhal and some garlic and spinach soups.  I’ve been really into this website, there is a lot of great veggie recipes.  My loml and I have been making veggie chili and tortilla soup too.  Its fun to use fresh ingredients and I have been sick so its been perfect.

About being sick… I had a cold that I couldn’t seem to shake and it developed into bronchitis.  I guess.  I thought I was going to die for a few days.  But my recent doc trip got me some antibiotics and I am starting to feel better.  So back to job searching.

I’m also in a pottery class.  So that is fun.  We just learned a little about glazing and we should learn about throwing on the wheel in a week or so.  For now we are making a lot of pinch pots, slab boxes and coil pots.  I have been really into the making spheres from two bowl molds.  As soon as I glaze I will post some pics.

And I want these as soon as I get a job.  For taking my soups for lunch.

Here are some pics from the children’s museum.  I went with my niece and nephew a few weeks ago.  It’s a beautiful building and they had fun.  I was really into the painting playhouse they had outside.

i turned 31 yesterday. fun for me, because i am an adult in my early 30’s. which is exciting for the most part.

it’s an old one i guess, but like i said, i need more beauty in my page. also, my loml made me the best lemony cake yesterday. can’t wait for more.
