i also like walls, the whole texture color combo makes me happy when i am sad.

out of focus
in case of wondering…
i am trying to organize all of my older photographs – the ones i have been taking since getting out of school, so that i can organize my thoughts and perhaps finish a series or at least find out what i really want to take pictures of.
my favorite pictures to look at and to take are the ones that look more like paintings, because they are slightly out of focus or some other trick. desiree asked me if i had ever used a holga or diana, i have, but as much as i like how other peoples pictures end up, i never like how my holga’s ended. i like pinhole better, or breathing on the lens or putting some sort of distortion something in front of the lens. these are some out of focus pics that i like.
also, as part of this organization process, i can’t find the cord to my scanner, so i am missing a lot of pictures, they are sitting here next to me, but you cannot see them. so sad.

travel photography seems like it would be the most awesome job ever. i forgot my flickr id so i tried to find it by looking through flickr, but no luck finding me. but i did find that people take amazing photographs. these are mine and were taken in vietnam, thailand, laos, mexico and peru- over the last 4 years.
